It is that time again to tell you about some products that are definitely worth spending your money on. Each month I am going to share 5 items that I feel you can’t live without! Here is the link for last month’s Hit List (http://bit.ly/18Ar61X), believe me, they are products that are unbelievable! I think you will love this month’s Hit List too!
The September Hit List:
Stimul8 Mud Instant Skin Transformation Treatment
This organic, all natural vegan mud treatment is amazing. I love it and since I found the product on Twitter I have been expounding the treatment as much as I can because it rocks. I started using it to just clean up my skin every week but its best use it to calm my skin after peels. Yes, it works great as a calming agent after I burn all the skin of my face! I found the owner on Twitter and have learned many things about this product since I first started to use it. In fact, I believe it works much better than Glamglow. Yes, you heard me right. Stimul8 Mud Treatment is so much better than Glamglow that I stake my reputation as an Esthetician on it! In fact, I plan on doing a comparison review. You can see my original review here: (http://bit.ly/1698g52).
Stimul8 Mud Treatment may be purchased at http://gr8fulcouture.com/ in a 50gr / 1.7 oz. $70.00 It lasts for a very long while. The owner has plans for many more products and I think you will be very satisfied. Hourglass No.28 Primer Serum
This is the best primer ever. I mean it. It is a dual purpose primer and anti-aging serum that prepares skin for makeup and helps to keep skin looking young. It is so silky and goes on like a dream. Just one pump will do the entire face and even the neck. The “28” in the name refers to the luxurious formula that contains 14 essential oils, 10 lipid-rick plant oils and 4 vitamins. The serum nurtures skin with a blend of rejuvenating essential oils (lavender, geranium, rose geranium, vanilla, clove, orange peel, amyris, lemon peel, petitgrain, eucalyptus, rosemary leaf, bois de rose, cedar leaf, ylang ylang), plant oils (jojoba, rose hips seed, evening primrose, hazelnut, borage seed, kukui nut, sweet almond, green tea, olive, and cherry pit), and four vitamins (A, B5, C, and E).,How awesome is that? There are no parabens, sulfates, synthetics fragrances, synthetic dyes, phthalates GMOs or Triclosan. The serum is so silky that is feels like it has silicone in it but it is jus all of the oils in it. The formula is so hydrating and strengthen the skin’s natural moisture barrier, even out pores, and shield against environmental aggressors. It hydrates to create a beautiful surface for foundation, which goes on so smoothly and stays on all day long!
Hourglass No. 28 Primer Serum comes in a1oz. bottle and is $65.00, is available at www.hourglasscosmetics.com or www.sephora.com and SEPHORA stores.
Urban Decay Vice 2 Eye Shadow Palette
I was drooling when Urban Decay announced the release of the Vice 2 Palette for the 2013 Holiday Season. This palette will be the one you want as a gift or the one you give to all your makeup junkie girlfriends. It is the end all be all of eye shadow palettes this season. Vice 2 has 20 new eye shadows and dual ended Karma brush. The shadows are soft, buttery and all are pigmented. I only had a problem with one and it was just slightly less pigmented than the other ones. They wear well, have little to no fallout and are on par with the regular UD eye shadows. Good job Urban Decay! You can read my review here: http://bit.ly/1fHYRoK.
The palette is $59.00 and it is definitely worth every penny! This palette can be found at www.urbandecay.com, www.sephora.com, www.ulta.com, SEPHORA stores, Ulta stores and Macy’s.
Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Hand Treatment
I was very excited to try this out. I have noticed that as of late I am developing more aging in my hands, which is where it starts first. People neglect the hands because they forget to put sunscreen on them and hands tend to be in the sun more when you drive. So I definitely wanted to get some dark spot treatment going. I might start doing some peels on my hands too, just to really jump up the treatments. What the Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Hand Treatment does is it helps prevent future spots with the SPF 30 (Avobenzone 3%, Octisalate 5% and Octocrylene 7%) and it treats spots that you currently have with Vitamin C. The Vitamin C “reduces pigmentation clusters and pushes new, healthy skin cells to the surface”. It can also be used on the chest to reduce sun damage that has become bothersome there. So far in a month I think it has done a pretty good job of helping to reduce some of the damage on my hands. You can see in the first photo that I had some pigmentation issues. In the second photo, one month later they have decreased somewhat. I don’t expect miracles unless I am using professional grade products, but this lotion has done a great job!
It comes in a 2.7 oz. tube and has a recommended retail price of $7.99. I purchased it at Wal-Mart. It is available at www.riteaid.com, www.ulta.com and other mass market retailers.

(Photo Taken on 9/30/13 shows damage has been decreased with twice daily use)
SEPHORA Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation
I am always on the search for the perfect foundation. I am super pale, have issues with a gazillion freckles and would just love a foundation to have perfect coverage that lasts all day after application. Guess what? I have found it! This foundation goes on so beautifully and you hardly even need an application sponge or a foundation brush to help smooth it out. I was lucky enough to get this foundation to try it out and it is now just about my favorite. You can read my review here: http://bit.ly/148PxYk. It comes in 5 shades and what makes me so happy is that the lightest shade is just about perfect for me! The microfine pigments go on like silk. And it lasts for 10 hours!!!!!! How awesome is that???? Even better, it is oil-free and non-comedogenic, so it won’t break you out! If you do need a brush, I recommend the SEPHORA Pro Stippling Brush or the Mineral Brush (http://bit.ly/17wHOnB). Both smooth it out beautifully.
The SEPHORA Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation is $26.00 and is available on www.sephora.com or at SEPHORA stores.
So, this is my hit list for the month of September. I had to dwindle it down because there are so many great products out there! It is really hard for me too because SEPHORA is calling me to go in my dreams all the time! I would love to hear from you what you think of these products if you have tried them and I think you need to go and try these products.
