This is listed as a multifunctional go to skincare product. A one-step wonder for flawless, beautiful skin. I am not going to go that far and say that is is going to give you perfect, flawless skin, but it does an okay job of covering minor flaws. It is more like a foundation than a BB Cream in coverage due to mineral pigments in the formula. It has an SPF 25: ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate 7.0%, zinc oxide 6.86 % and titanium dioxide 5.88 %. I am a little disappointed that there is a chemical sunscreen in it but at least there is sunscreen in it and it is above a SPF 20. It has MatrixylR and ArgirelineR to fight lines and wrinkles. The formula has a good amount of botanicals and anti-oxidants, such as green tea, safflower seed oil, licorice root extract, bearberry leaf, grape seed oil, Vitamin E and Vitamin C Ester to name a few. Below are a list of the key benefits that Derma E have listed for the BB Crème. I do believe that with the botanicals and anti-oxidants in the formula, these benefits can be achieved with regular use.
The formula does conceal, optical pigments help to brighten skin, it evens out the complexion and definitely moisturizes. The SPF helps to protect and defend the skin from sun damage. The anti-oxidants help to defend, soothe, soften and refine. The botanicals in the formula will clarify, even the skin, rejuvenate, moisturize and soften the skin.
It has 12 Key Beauty Benefits:
- Conceals
- Defends
- Brightens
- Clarifies
- Evens
- Soothes
- Rejuvenates
- Refines
- Smoothes
- Moisturizes
- Protects
- Softens
Here is a swatch of the light tint formula below:
You can see how thick it is. It definitely has medium coverage, which is unusual for a BB Cream. The light shade is a little bit dark for my complexion (not news to me), but will work for a good number of people with lighter skin tones. There is also a medium shade offered.
