Recently I was able to try out a couple of products from Dr. Aurora DeJuliis M.D., an internist and anti-aging authority. This physician uses her knowledge of science, skin rejuvenation, nutrition and anti-aging medicine to offer a progressive European approach to skincare. She established one of the first medical spas in New Jersey in 1998. She is also the founder of the The Aurora DeJuliis M.D. European Medical Spa in Montclair, New Jersey. These spas offer unique treatments that are state of the art, such as non invasive cosmetic laser treatments with a focus on anti-aging skincare. She also offers a skincare line with ingredients like soy, pumpkin seed, chamomile and avocado oil. These products are formulated to transform the skin.
I tried two products, the Ultra Soy Peptide Cream and the Soft Papaya & Pumpkin Masque. Let’s discuss the mask first! This lovely Papaya & Pumpkin Masque is made of papaya enzymes to help digest and exfoliate dead skin cells, extracts of pumpkin seeds to smooth the skin, tapioca starch and kaolin clay to clarify and condition the skin, Japanese green tea is an anti-oxidant that helps reduce redness and irritation, beeswax and avocado oil moisturize and hydrate the skin. It has many Vitamins and minerals ( Vitamin A, K and C, minerals such as zinc, copper, magnesium and potassium) that keep the skin soft and supple. This mask is to be left on the skin for 20 minutes. After it is washed off the skin is so soft, smooth and incredibly vibrant! It is definitely one of the better masks I have used on my skin. What I like about it is that is has so many things in it that will take care of any skin problem. Redness, irritation, dullness, dryness, etc! $26.00 2.0 oz./ 57 g
Soy is everywhere these days. In the grocery stores, diets and now in skincare! The Ultra Soy Peptide Cream is great for skin that has sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles and some sagging to to loss of elasticity. In clinical tests, it has been shown that this cream shows a 45% reduction of deep wrinkles a 17% lifting effect and a 14% reduction of skin roughness within 2 months of daily use. Other ingredients in the cream are aloe vera, olive fruit oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, squalane, grape seed extract, almond kernel oil, Vitamin E, bergamot oil, retinol and Vitamin C. The ingredients list tells me that there are a good number of anti-oxidants in the cream and ingredients that are for fighting sun damage. For use during the harsh winter month and hot summer days, this is a luxurious cream that feels like silk when applied. I definitely think this is a great cream for those who have issues with lines and wrinkles. Fortunately, I don’t have any heavy lines and wrinkles to deal with but I had issues with sun damage and I used this, another serum and my Dermaroller these past couple of months. I have to say that my sun damage has diminished so much. I am very happy! $68.00 1.7 oz./48 g
The Aurora DeJuliis M.D. Skincare line is a complete line with cleansers, toners, serums, masks and treatment creams. I think it is worth checking this line out from the products I have tried. I like what I have tried out thus far and I am interested in trying out more products. The line is available on http://www.auroradejuliismd.com/products.
