Review: J•bio Eyelash & Brow Vital Growth Serum #Jbio

I have stumpy eyelashes and brows that have been over tweezed to oblivion. So I was over the moon to actually be able to try out the J•bio Eyelash & Brow Vital Growth Serum. This serum promises to moisturize and condition the delicate eye area, leaving it soft and silky, will not change the color of the eye or tint the eyelid, and it will especially support longer, fuller & darker eyelashes. Also, it does not contain harsh chemicals, preservatives or prostaglandins.

My eyelashes are invisible. Seriously, you cannot see them they are so light. So I was so excited to see if this product would grow them out a little bit. I was not too concerned with my brows, I have areas that are over tweezed and will never grow back. Let this be a lesson to you, do not over tweeze your eye brows. They will not grow back!!!!

The kit contains a 7 ml bottle of the serum and 30 felt tip applicators. You shake the bottle and apply 2 drops to the applicator. This is done once a day to clean, dry skin. The serum is applied to the base of the upper eyelid like you would eyeliner and then the lower eyelid so that the lower lases can also get some love. The repeat in the upper and lower lash line several times to ensure product is saturated. Finally, apply some serum to the brows. Just 2 drops is more than enough to take care of all 3 regions. I found that doing this at night was the perfect time to get it done, right after cleansing and before doing eye cream and any other serums. It can be done in the morning but make sure all of the serum is dry before applying makeup. It surprised me that only that small amount, 2 drops, is needed. I think that I will run out of applicators before I run out of serum.

J•bio says that this serum has a proprietary ICG-9 Triplex™ which encourages lash growth by.encouraging hair matrix production and supporting lash cycles. Essentially that means that it helps hair grow faster and more often. The formula also contains glycerin, panthenol and honeysuckle flower extract. Glycerin adds moisture, panthenol soothes and the honeysuckle flower extract has calming and anti-inflammatory properties.

Results:

So, I have to show you my eyes without makeup. Well, if I have to then let’s go! I have to say one thing. This serum does seem to work. If you look above, you can see the photo on top where there is clearly a lack of lashes, or realistically small lashes that are short, stubby and almost invisible. On the bottom the lashes are much longer and more visible (not to the point of being extremely long, but long enough that there is a difference). I chose the eye that had the least amount of lashes because that is the one that is hardest to see. After using the serum for one month my lashes are much longer and fuller, both on top and on bottom.

I can also say that it did help my brows. Not the area where there was no hair, but the area where the hair was still full. I had much more growth there and had to trim my brows more often this past month. I am going to continue to use this until all of the serum is gone. This serum did not make any new hair grow on the brow, it just took the hair that was there and made it grow faster and somewhat fuller. Which is exactly what the makes said it would do.

I am extremely happy with the J•bio Eyelash & Brow Vital Growth Serum. I think that this is a great serum and is good because it does not require a prescription, does not change the color of the irises and is much safer than other serums for the eyelashes. If you are thinking that this one is expensive, consider that Latisse^R is very expensive and has major side effects. I would be scared to use it.
