I was given this cleanser to try out. I have used glycolic acid cleansers before but usually they were with sulfate style cleansers. This time I had a cleanser that was a non-soap style. Most people think that glycolic acid doesn’t help much when used in cleanser form but that is not true (water does dilute the acid but it still works). It does help to exfoliate the dead skin cells that are still clinging to the top of the skin. It is very beneficial to help the exfoliation process by using this type of cleanser. Personally, I think that it works very well. It is not for removing makeup though. You still need another cleanser for that. And don’t get it near your eyes, the acid will burn. This cleanser has a number of botanicals and extracts in it (rose hips, sunflower seed, chamomile, grapefruit and even seaweed). I think it cleanses okay but its main purpose is exfoliation and it does help to do that very well.
