After I used the Bigen Permanent Powder Hair Color, I was sent these products to try out. Bigen makes a whole line of hair care products (shampoo, conditioner, shine serum and sheen spray) that are extremely useful in keeping hair color bright and protected.
Protect & Repair Shampoo $4.99 (8 fl.oz. 236 mL)
This is a gentle shampoo that detangles and restores moisture to dry, over processed hair. It contains rice water, which has been known for centuries to keep hair healthy, strong and shiny. Rice Water is then combined with Inositol and Sunflower Seed Oil to help protect & repair color treated, chemically processed and damaged hair. The shampoo formula revives and protects damaged hair to improve elasticity, it moisturizes and it is safe for color treated hair. Leaves hair tangle free with a lot of body and shine! To use: wet hair and apply a generous amount and work into a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat is needed for oily hair or hair that has build up from product. Follow with Protect & Repair Deep Conditioner With Sunflower Oil & Rice Water Essence.
This shampoo leaves hair feeling soft and incredibly shiny. It does give a nice, rich lather. I love that my damaged hair gets what it needs from this shampoo, because it is damaged from coloring and this provides protection and helps to repair the damage.
Protect & Repair Conditioner $1.99 per packet (1.75 oz./51.7mL)
This deep penetrating conditioner has Rice Water along with Inositol and Sunflower Seed Oil to protect and repair damaged, color treated hair and chemically processed hair. The best way to use this deep conditioner is to apply the whole pack to your entire head of hair. Distribute evenly to hair with a wide tooth comb. Place a plastic cap over hair and sit under a warm dryer for 10 minutes or 15 minutes with a plastic cap and no dryer. Rinse hair thoroughly and gently towel dry. Style as usual.
After using this deep conditioner hair feels so soft, looks incredibly shiny and is definitely bouncy and full of life again. It repairs hair to the point that it looks like it does not have any chemical damage.
What can you say about this Polishing Serum except that it is wonderful! It is the kind of polishing serum that you put on your hair and just gives it instant shine, smoothes frizziness, controls damage, hydrates and detangles. Definitely multipurpose! The serum is enriched with Sunflower Seed Oil and Shea Butter to infuse moisture and shine. It can be used every day.
Apply 1-2 drops to the palm of your hand. Rub hands together and distributer through hair starting at the ends and working to the roots. Style as desired. Use on dry or damp hair. If needed, you can use a small amount more. Definitely don’t add too much or hair will be greasy.
I love how this makes my hair so incredibly shiny. I have red hair and it needs to look shiny or it does not look good at all. The polishing serum adds so much shine to my hair that it reflects like a mirror.
Sheen Spray $4.99
Sheen spray has Sunflower Seed Oil, Beeswax and Shea Butter to create a light and healthy finish for styling. Great for all hair types to replenish and restore shine. Great for natural hair. For best results, hold can 10-12 inches from hair and spray lightly. Do not spray too much onto hair or it will be greasy.
This us a little bit different than the polishing serum. It adds loads of shine to the hair but without any weight. If you want just a light spray of shine, this will be for you. It is more for the top layer of hair. The Polishing Serum is for the whole head of hair. This is good for fine, thin hair that cannot hold the serum, etc.
I love how much shine I get from this spray. My hair gets a sheen that is like diamonds. The light reflects off of my hair and it looks so pretty.
