Review: Faith Aromatherapy Bath and Body Line #FaithAromatherapy

Faith Aromatherapy was founded by Faith Frankenfield, an esthetician and makeup artist with 19 years experience in the industry. She has been featured in Women’s Wear Daily, Women’s Day, the New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal. She founded Faith Aromatherapy in 2003 because she was dealing with acne and health issues relating to the antibiotics that she was taking for her acne. She wanted to take a more holistic approach to deal with the acne and as a result, the Faith Skin Care System was launched in 2004. It is one of the first holistic acne brands to focus on problem skin with a nutritional emphasis. Soon her body products followed and she began to take a philanthropic approach, supporting causes and redemptive entertainment initiatives. Ten percent of the proceeds of Faith Aromatherapy products are donated to support charitable causes that “bring healing, and the freedom to live out life purpose and destiny”. Faith Aromatherapy products are produced by avoiding synthetic fragrances, by using pure essential oils and by replacing all of the synthetic chemicals with raw materials where ever they can. The products are technologically advanced, with safe ingredients.

Part of their Prevention Collection, this is a dual gel wash for hands and body. It has a sweet citrus scent and contains essential oils and Olive Leaf Extract that is traditionally used to prevent germs. The cleansers that are used in this gel are the same quality as bath and shower gels. It leaves skin smooth, soft and moisturized while cleansing dirt and oil from hands and pores. It can be used on hands or the body.
I found it works great as a hand cleanser or in the shower. I adore the scent, which does not give me a headache but stays with me all day long on my body when used as a shower gel.




Citrus Ginger Anti-Oxidant Body Lotion $14.99 8.5 fl.oz.


A body lotion for daily use that softens skin and locks in moisture. This lotions fight off free radicals and brightens the skin.The citrus-ginger scent is great for the senses as it uplifts, balances digestion and increases positivity. Shea Butter helps protects against UV rays. Vitamin E and A have anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. I like that it smells divine, personally. This lotion is a jack of all trades kind of product! It is rich a sinks right into skin, helping to lock in the moisture. Use right after a shower or bath for best results.




Tahitian Monoi Exfoliating Body Scrub $17.99 12 fl.oz.


This decadent body scrub is part of Faith Aromatherapy’s Tahitian Monoi Collection*. The Anti-Aging Exfoliating sugar scrub has fine sugar granules to exfoliate cells and Monoi oil to increase collagen product, lock in moisture and fights free radical damage for smoother, brighter skin. The scrub has an intoxicating citrus-floral fragrance that will awaken the senses, making you feel alive and beautiful. To layer the fragrance use with Tahitian Monoi Shower Gel and Tahitian Monoi Anti-Aging Body Cream. *Monoi Oil is a French Polynesian tradition that goes back 100 years where Tiare Gardenia flowers are submerged in coconut oil, leaving behind a wonderful, exotic fragrance that is loved worldwide. The scrub also has Sweet Orange Oil to enhance the Monoi oil and Safflower oil which is an anti-oxidant.

I just have to say that this scrub is amazing. It is truly decadent and lovely. I adore the scent and love using this to exfoliate my skin with. I think it helps in winter, when you want to have the idea of summer. It is also great to have in summer when you want to have your skin swimsuit ready. Just remember not to use a scrub and then shave or depilate your legs or any other part of the body. That is a no-no. This is a good scrub to have around if you want to treat keratosis pilaris. It will help to get rid of the dead skin that is clogging up the hair follicles on the back of the arms and legs, thus causing the bumpiness and inflammation. The Monoi Oil in the scrub will help to soften the skin on the arms. As I mentioned, this is truly a great, decadent body scrub. And you don’t need a huge amount. Make sure to apply to dry skin as the water dissolves the sugar.


I was very happy with the items I tried from Faith Aromatherapy. She also has an Apothecary where you can order personalized blends of essential oils. You fill out an intake form and then she blends the oil for you. The cost is reasonable and I do believe that her company makes excellent products.
