Review: boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal #boscia #cleanser

Last year I tried out the boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge and loved it. I was excited to get to try out the new boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal. Boscia knows skincare. They have some of the best skincare on the market today. All of their products provide excellent results.

The pore-perfecting, extremely soft konjac sponge comes from the konjac root which has been in use for over 1,500 hundred years in Asian cultures both for beauty purposes and as a dietary staple. The root absorbs debris and impurities from the skin. This small sponge acts in a big way. It cleanses by itself or with your favorite boscia cleanser. Added in this sponge is black bamboo charcoal, which absorbs toxins and impurities for combination and oily skin. Activated charcoal is worked throughout the sponge to help purify the skin. When wet, the sponge is soft enough for the whole face, even the eye area. It is gentle enough for all skin types, even the most sensitive.  Use it for the neck and décolleté too. The konjac sponge thoroughly cleanses away makeup, debris and impurities. It provides a natural way to refine the skin’s texture and helps to reveal a radiant, luminous complexion. Blood circulation is also stimulated with the use of the sponge. Healthy cell renewal is promoted with use. The activated charcoal helps to reduce blemish causing bacteria, draw out impurities and minimize the appearance of pore size. Although it is recommended for combination to oily skin, all skin types could use this. 

To use the sponge, wet it thoroughly until it is very soft. Then apply cleanser and work into a lather and massage in a circular motion to help remove dirt, debris, makeup and impurities. It can also be used without cleanser, just for mild cleansing and exfoliation benefits. Rinse the sponge thoroughly after each use and hang by the attached cotton thread in a well ventilated are to dry. Repeat morning and night. Replace the sponge every 2-3 months.

I really like the Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal. I would say this is just as good as the original if not better. The activated charcoal in it is perfect for those who suffer blemishes or who are in need of exfoliation. If you have combination or oily skin then this is perfect for you. I happen to have normal skin that goes through seasonal changes. This is an ideal product for me. I can use this sponge in the spring and summer months and the original one in the fall and winter months. I find that it works very well on its own as an exfoliant. When I use it with cleanser, it cleanses and exfoliates extremely well. I love how it makes my skin feel. My skin feels much softer with use of the sponge rather than on its own. The sponge is an excellent product that really does work. I loved it so much that I even put it on my May HIT LIST. The sponge itself is so easy to use and is very gentle. I even use it on the eye area. It works great to help get rid of the extra eye makeup that the eye makeup remover did not get off. Like I mentioned at the top of this post, boscia products get the job done and provide great results.
