Review: Irresistible Me Hair Extensions #IrresistibleMe #hairextensions #humanhairextensions

Up to this point in my life I have never worn hair extensions. I have always wanted to try them out but I have never really had the inclination to purchase any. I was approached by Irresistible Me to try out some of their hair extensions and immediately I said, “YES!” I did want to try them out. Boy was I happy that I did. Now I have something I can use as a new hair style add in whenever I want more volume and length. 

Irresistible Me hair extensions are 100% human hair that come in different weights, lengths and styles. The company also makes full wigs. I was sent a kit of hair extensions in the color Royal Remy Royal Light Red #130, 200 g (length of 16 inches). Mine retail for $269.00. Royal Remy is the premium line of clip-in hair extensions. They use top of the line hair and a special treatment that is unique to Irresistible Me. It adds extra silkiness and durability that makes these the best hair extensions you will find on the market today. The thickness of the hair is amazing. It is the same from the top to the bottom of the weft, which provides a ton of body and bounce while wearing the extension. Irresistible Me hair extensions also come in these styles: Signature Weft, Silky Touch and Volume Vixen. There are highlight and ponytails extensions available, as well as full lace wigs, hair tools, hair care and accessories. 

This color does not match my hair exactly, it is just a tad lighter. I did try coloring my hair lighter to match the extension more. However, my hair is very porous and the color takes to my hair and deposits it there and it takes a good while for it to fade. So even though I colored it to match the extension my hair is a little bit darker on the sides and bottom, while the roots of my hair match the extensions almost exactly. I always color my hair at home, I have actually never been to the salon to do it.

The Irresistible Me hair extensions come in a bag with two parts. The first is a try me section that has a small two clip piece to try on and see if the extensions are the right color. You try the section on and it if is the right color then you go to the larger section, open it up and use the rest of the extensions. The extensions come in netting so that they do not get messed up during shipping. Take them out of the netting and you will see that you have the following: (1) 4 clip piece, (2) 3 clip pieces, (2) 2 clip pieces and (2) 1 clip pieces. Plus the trial piece that also has 2 clips. The pieces can come in different lengths. I ordered a 16 inch length. They also come in different weights: 100g, 140g and 200g pieces. Mine are 200 g weight pieces, Royal Remy Royal Light Red #130. 

The Royal Remy hair extensions come in 12 shades, as do the Signature Weft extensions. The Silky Touch and Volume Vixen hair extensions come in 11 shades. The highlights extensions come in one shade. The Clip-In Ponytails also come in 12 shades. Irresistible Me makes a Diamond Hair Styler ($149) and an 8-in-1 Hair Curler ($199) that are sold on the website. To take care of your hair, they make an Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner ($24 each). These products can be used on your regular hair and the extensions, to help take great care of them. It is essential that the extensions be taken care of so that they last a very long time. If you invest money in your extensions, you want them to last a good, long time. They also sell some gorgeous headbands and barrettes that will look amazing in your hair, adding a lot of beautiful flair to the hair. 

How do you use the extensions? It is very easy. Brush them prior to putting them in. First clip up all of your hair and comb it into sections. The large 4 clip piece is going to be the centerpiece of the whole extension. It is the largest piece and has the most thickness. Use it more towards the bottom of your head. Then slowly work your way up your head, from the back and sides up towards the top, clipping pieces here and there. It will take a few tries to get a good grip on where you want them and how well they fit onto your head. As you place them in you clip then in then push down on the clip to hold the extension in place. One try is not going to be perfect, believe me. Once they are all in, your hair will look and feel very thick. Hair can be brushed so that the extensions and regular hair blend together more. They can be curled or straightened depending on how you like your hair. See below here for my look with my regular hair and my hair with the light red extensions. Even though mine are a little bit lighter than my actual hair, I love them. I love how they add dimension, length, volume and fun to my hair. The extensions are easy to put in. Just section off your hair, clip them in, push down on the clips and voila! Make sure that your normal hair covers the clips. Your extensions stay in until you take them out. Curl them or straighten them. They are human hair and therefore will act like human hair. To take care of them, brush them, wash them with shampoo and conditioner as you would your normal hair, then leave them to air dry out on a towel.
