essence The Little X-Mas Factory Eyeshadow Palette

For the holidays essence has come out with an adorable makeup collection called The Little X-Mas Factory. I got to try out the eyeshadow palette that came with the collection. The eyeshadow palette is no longer online, it must have sold out, but it is likely still available at the doors where essence is sold. The shadows in the palette are all shimmery, metallic. They are not creamy per se, but harder, so as to be easier to put on when wet. In fact, these look lovely put on wet. I wore them dry in the photos below and they looked pretty darned good though. I do think wet is the way to go with these, you get better payoff and they last longer. I always wear my shadows over an eyeshadow base so that they last the whole day, as I advise you to do the same. essence makes a great one.

The colors in this palette are: hot cocoa, ski pink, opalescent silver, evergreen and gold. In the photos below I am wearing the opalescent silver as a base, with the hot cocoa in my crease and on the outer edge of my upper lid. I lined my lower lid with evergreen and use evergreen on my upper lids. My liner is essence liquid ink high shine eyeliner and my mascara is Forbidden Volume Rebel Mascara. On my lips and cheeks I am wearing makeup other than essence. It's LORAC's Chroma Color Source blush, Moonlight Light Source Highlighter and Nude Rose PRO Liquid Lipstick.
