The SEPHORA Holiday Kiss Collection

Every year for the holidays SEPHORA likes to mix it up a little bit and come out with some fun stuff. This year they came out with a Holiday Kiss Collection of lipsticks specially made for this holiday season. A number of companies put in shades for this collection, as well as kits and small palettes (a lot of the are sold out already online). I was able to try a few of them myself and I will be showing you the ones I tried out. I will show you how they looked on my lips.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Troublemaker $17.00

Notice how beautiful this color is. It is a gorgeous deep plum color, it is a cool color but can be worn with warm tones too.I absolutely adore this shade, as it goes well with my skin tone and green eyes. Urban Decay's Vice Lipsticks are my favorites right now. I just LOVE them! They are extremely pigmented, last forever and leave lips feeling soft and nice, not dry and flaky. Even the matte lipsticks don't make the lips feel bad.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Lolita II $21.00

This is a gorgeous color. On just about everyone. Originally is was an Everlasting lipstick shade, but Kat Von D decided to bring it to the Studded Kiss lipstick formula because it was so popular. It is a dusty-mauve pink that really does look good on most, if not every person. I got a lot of compliments when I wore it. People asked me what I was wearing, where they could get it and how much was it. If you are looking for a lips but better color, this is your color. 

Marc Jacobs Beauty Lip Crème in Bad Behavior $30.00

This is another color that I absolutely adore. I love Marc Jacobs Lip Crèmes, They are very pigmented, last a long time and come in so many fun colors. This particular one seems very well suited for my skin tone, eye color and hair color. I have green eyes and red hair. i look good in burgundy shades and dark reds as well as plums too. I prefer nudes since I usually go all out on my eyes. This color makes you wan to do sinful things, now doesn't it?

NARS Audacious Lipstick in Rita $32.00

Now this is a red lipstick. There is not messing around here. This lipstick is likely named for Rita Hayworth. François Nars likes to name his lipsticks after famous female movie stars. The Audacious formula is creamy, HIGHLY pigmented, stays on forever and is worthy of the high price tag. It is a gorgeous lipstick that makes you want to say I do to everything, because you have that kind of confidence wearing it. I took this picture in my bathroom in the middle of the night when i couldn't sleep and the lighting was ot the best. Imagine how it looks in perfect lighting!!! 

Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian $20.00

Buxom Lip Cream in White Russian is a beautiful gloss that goes on light pink with white undertone. Out of all the colors I tried I would definitely say this is the least eye popping. Don't get me wrong, I love the color, and it looks good on me, But it is a l little different from what I am used to on my own. It is nude, so that satisfies my craving for a nude color to use any time, and it is glossy, just in case i get sick of all of those matte lipsticks. It makes my lips look full too. Which is nice as my lips are puny and weak.
