Review: Alba Botanica Items For The Face #AlbaBotanica #dobeautiful

Recently I received some items from Alba Botanica to try out and review. I have been wanting to try the line for some time now, so I was very happy to get my hands on some of the items they have. Here are reviews on the items I tried. All of the products have vegetarian ingredients, are not animal tested, have no synthetic fragrances, no artificial colors, have no harsh sulfates, parabens or phthalates. 

Alba Botanica Acnedote Deep Pore Wash

6 fl.oz./177mL 

This face wash contains zit-zapping 2% salicylic acid and willow bark extract. If your pores are clogged with debris and sebum then this is the cleanser to break them free. It is extremely effective and lathers to unclog the gunk from the pores, helping to banish existing blemishes and to prevent new ones from forming. All you have to do is apply twice daily, add some water, later and rinse. It's maximum strength, oil-free, dermatologist-tested and non-comedogenic. I love this cleanser. It deeply cleanses the skin and leaves it feeling extremely clean, fresh and ready to take on the day. Do not use around the eyes though. 

Alba Botanica Acnedote Face and Body Scrub

This is a very powerful, effective scrub that is botanically based. It is dual-purposed face and body that is tough on backne but gentle enough for daily facial cleansing. This scrub has been formulated with powerful but proven zit-zappers such as salcylic acid and willow bark extract plus ground walnut shell. It buffs away dirt, oil, and pore clogging dead skin cells. This product helps banish breakouts for visibly clearer skin without over irritation. It is maximum strength, oil-free, dermatologist tested and noncomedogenic. This scrub is very nice. It is one of the better ones. This one does not use microbeads that harm the environment. It is a mild scrub, since is is for acne use, and can be use by those with active pimples. 

Alba Botanica Acnedote Deep Clean Astringent

OMG. This astringent is the best. I use it all the time to get my skin feeling like it has been exposed to ice. At least that is what it feels like! Your skin will feel refreshed and amazing after using this. Like your skin has just had an amazing facial. 

Alba Botanica Acnedote Oil Control Lotion

After using the other products, for cleansing and toning your skin, you need a lotion to hydrate it. But it needs to be blemish friendly. This one is. It is the ultimate acne-fighting, mattifying lotion. This powerful, botanically effective , oil-free formula keeps shine at bay while it weightlessly hydrates the skin. Formulated with salicylic acid and willow bark extract help this lotion take down zits and let you see a visibly clearer complexion. Never tight, never oily. Skin is smooth, fresh and prepped for your day (or night). This lotion is maximum strength, oil-free, non-comedogenic and has been dermatologist tested. It provides an all day matte finish. 

What I love about this lotion is that it does mattify the skin all day long. Most lotions do not do this. This one DOES. It is not a lie. Your face will not look oily unless you don't use the entire line of products here. 

Alba Botanica Even Advanced Sea Lettuce Cleansing Milk

Add indulgence to your cleansing routine. This soap-free milk cleanser gently removes any traces of makeup, dirt, oil and debris for a clean skin. Their botanically powerful Marine Complex, featuring sea lettuce extract helps to fortify skin and encourages an even skin tone. Spoil yourself with skin that is clean but never stripped of its natural oils. This cleanser is hypo-allergenic, soap-free and promotes an even skin tone. The even advanced line washes out dullness and promotes an even skin tone in general. It's the Marine Complex with the sea lettuce that helps even the skin tone. It is in all the even advanced products and it really does help get rid of dull skin and even it out. 

This cleansing milk is great for skin that is normal with some hyperpigmentation. It is hydrating, soothing and moisturizing. Skin will feel loved with this cleansing milk. It will feel soothed and happy. 

Alba Botanica Fast Fix For A Pimple

0.25oz./7g

When you need a really fast fix for a pimple, this tinted cream immediately blurs the offending blemish while willow bark extract, colloidal sulfur and licorice root work immediately to remedy the blemish and soon it will be gone. This product contains 6% sulfur to help treat acne blemishes, which is great and not irritating. It is also oil-free. The willow bark extract helps to hide and treat the blemish. This product is also hypo-allergenic. 

This helps get rid of pimples in no time flat. Use twice daily and make sure to not spread any bacteria from the blemish to another area of the face. 

Alba Botanica Fast Fix For Thin Lips 

0.25oz./7g

If you need a fast fix for thin lips, this moisturizing gloss immediately stimulates your lips with cinnamon, peppermint and ginger to trigger plumping and flushing with a hint of color and shine. The gloss leaves lips full, smooth and kissably soft. It instanly stimulates lips. It is pocket-sized and ready to go with you on a date or anywhere. The gloss is gentle and effective. 

This is for someone who really wants to put some va-va-voom in her lips. Personally, I don't like these kinds of serums but some do. I find them too spicy for my lips.  

Alba Botanica Fast Fix For Undereye Circles

0.25oz./7g

Undereye circles are a pain in the butt. When you need a fast fix for them, this vanishing yellow concealer neutralizes darkness to brighten tired eyes while apple fruit, white lily and caffeine help to maintain an even tone from below the surface. It’s magical brightening in the blink of an eye. This product is hypo-allergenic, it is gentle and effective and is great because it is pocket sized and can be taken with you wherever you go. And it works wonders!

This definitely is not too yellow for under the eye area. It blends into the skin and your eyes will look so good, especially when your makeup is finished.
