Anyone who has ever used Marc Jacobs Beauty eyeshadow knows how splendid it is. It is soft, smooth, creamy, well pigmented and wears well all day long. Recently his line came out with new palettes, Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palettes. These palettes have seven eyeshadows in each palette with four different formulas: buttery matte velvet, shimmering satin, sparkling silk, and metallic lamé, all in one palette. Each curated palette includes a covetable mix of chic neutral, wearable shades and provocative pops of color in a new super-plush shadow formulation to cover lids in lasting, velvety-rich pigment. I received two of these palettes to test out, Scandalust and Edgitorial. They are available in six different color selections. Each palette features its own shade personality. Below you will see my review and photos of looks I did with the palettes.

As you can see, this palette is one that has warmer tones to it and looks good on someone with my coloring. I have green eyes, so the colors actually bring out the green in my eyes. Red is opposite on the color wheel, which would help bring out the green. That is artistic sensibility. I love this palette so much because of the colors in it. It really screams my name. I did two completely different looks to show you how versatile this palette is in terms of color. The shimmers in it are really creamy and the mattes in it are firm but all of the shadows are extremely pigmented. This palette would be great for going out dancing or for a date. When they came up with this palette, it was good thinking on the Marc Jacobs Beauty team.

The Edgitorial Palette is made up of warm and cool colors, and would be good for just about anyone. It has a beautiful gold metallic shade that I am wearing in the photos above on my lids. This palette would be great for the office, a night out or just about anytime. It is so popular that it is currently sold out on www.sephora.com and the Marc Jacobs website. I think this palette is lovely and would wear it all the time. I just love that metallic gold. It enraptures me.
The Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palettes can be purchased online at www.sephora.com and at www.marcjacobs.com. They can also be purchased in SEPHORA stores. This spring Marc Jacobs introduces Le Marc Lip Crème. This lip color is a rich, velvety ultra-hydrating lipstick that is extremely pigmented and can deliver a very dramatic punch of color. It is guaranteed to give endless hours of wear.
The new revolutionary 10-hour lipstick saturates lips in luxury and creamy, vibrant pigment with just one swipe. Get unprecedented color payoff from concentrated color-boost pigments that are triple-milled and enriched with hydrating ingredients. They leave lips with ultimate long-lasting color and moisture. When first applied lips feel plumped and nourished from peptides, anti-oxidant rich seaberry and natural humectants (meranti and cocoa butter). Le Marc Lip Crème comes in 20 irresistible color-drenched shades that were named after iconic women that have inspired Marc throughout his life. Wear with Marc Jacobs (P)OUTLINER Longwear Lip Pencil (see review here: http://bit.ly/1DPoY8x).
I tried four shades of the Le Marc Lip Crème. The shades I tried were J’Adore (terra cotta blush), Rei of Light (toasted brick), Magenta (grape sangria), and Scandal (intense plum). I will say this, these are very intense shades. They do cover the lips with one swipe. In all my years of wearing lipstick (since I was 12 and I am now 43), I have not seen a lipstick with this much pigment and payoff. I love how well it goes on and how well it lasts. Not only does it stay on for at least 10 hours, it also wears well through eating. More than any other lipstick I have seen. I also like that it does not come off easily onto other things, the color is just about transfer-proof. It is non-drying to the lips, keeping them feeling hydrated and soft.
These are some great lippies and I recommend these if you are looking for something that is very pigmented and wears a very long time. These are not sheer in the least, have excellent coverage and last forever. They have a satin finish, which means it is not matte and not a shimmer. Kind of in between. I am very happy to have been given the chance to discover these. I would love to try out more, so I think I will purchase one or two on my next SEPHORA splurge!
