NEW Items From L'Oréal Paris!
L'Oréal Paris has and always will be (ever since I was 12 years old and bought my first lipgloss) been one of my favorite cosmetic lines. I love when they introduce new items because I get to try them out and write about them!!! It is the highlight of my job. I love makeup and trying out makeup is a fun experience for me. Especially because L'Oréal Paris makes such high quality cosmetics at affordable prices.

Powder is an essential part of your makeup regimen. It is something you need to use after foundation, to set your makeup and make sure your foundation and blush lasts all day. With this powder you get all day shine control, soft focus, a matte finish that doesn't look chalky and a beautiful complexion without looking cakey. It is a powder inspired by professional makeup artists that is translucent. INFALLIBLE Pro Sweep & Lock Loose Setting Face Powder locks in makeup and controls shine all day long. The micro-fine powder blurs lines and pores for a beautifully smooth finish that lasts all day long.
I found that this powder definitely lived up to its expectations. I applied it after foundation and before blush. It did not look chalky at all and hardly looked like I had applied powder. I think all skin tones could use this because it is translucent. It is a whitish powder but it goes on invisible. I would recommend this for anyone.
If you know anything about L'Oréal Paris, you know they are famous for their mascaras. They have the best mascaras. I was very excited to try their newest mascara, Voluminous Superstar X Fiber Mascara. It is a 2-Step Mascara. It has a black primer and fiber system for extreme volume and length. The first step is the black primer, which instantly builds intense volume and color. Then use the second step which is a fiber-infused smudge-proof mascara that takes your lashes to extreme lengths. If you know anything at all about my lashes, you know that they are non-existent. Seriously. They are kind of long but they are very light blond, so light you cannot see them. It comes in three shades: Black, Soft Black and Very Black. I tried Black.
Here is a photo of my lashes without mascara:
Here is a photo of me wearing the mascara:
See how much difference there is? This mascara adds a huge amount of volume and length! It takes my wimpy lashes and makes them full and very nice. I definitely recommend this mascara. Even just using the first step by itself is nice. You can get a great coat of mascara by itself that way. I LOVE this mascara, and the best part is it is smudge-proof! It even comes in a waterproof formula too!
This is a new version of L'Oréal Paris' classic lipstick. It is ultra rich, ultra shiny and ultra radiant. Colour Riche Lipstick Shine Lipstick provides glossy, high color shine for lips that shine for hours. It comes in 16 luminous shades, I tried Glossy Fawn, beautiful nude brown shade. This lipstick provides comfortable wear that is not tacky or sticky. In one stroke you can get high pigment color that is hydrating and lasting with a rich color pay-off. This true-color formula has 60% more oils, leaving lips feeling soft and conditioned throughout the day.
Here I am wearing Glossy Fawn:
Notice that I am not wearing any lip liner with this. It has a lot of pigment for a shiny lipstick. I definitely want to try more colors. I am very happy with this lipstick and feel it is a great choice for spring, with the new trends that are going on.
