Hawaiian Healing Skincare has been working for the past two years on their signature perfume. It is their pleasure to finally release this fragrance, called Mahalo Cay, to the public this holiday season. I was lucky enough to try a sample of it and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. Mahalo Cay is the culmination of two years of carefully developing a unique, luxurious fragrance, while reserving the public release until you, the discerning customer absolutely loves it! Through this fragrance, be prepared to transport yourself into a magical, tropical experience, while allowing your thoughts and senses to travel with Hawaiian Healing Skincare on this journey to the magical place that is truly Hawaii. This perfume was developed by the founder of Hawaiian Healing, Bill Carlson.
Their personal challenge was to artfully develop a fragrance that encompasses the essence of Hawaiian Islands while embodying the sensation vibrant and unique botanicals, luxurious oil and deep island culture. To that they created a balance and combination of Hawaii's most coveted florals such as Pikake, Hibiscus, Plumeria, Jasmine and Lily, along with soft fruity tropical notes of pineapple and banana, finishing with sugary Tahitian Vanilla base notes. Through the sophisticated fragrance, prepare to indulge yourself in a magical, tropical experience, while allowing your thoughts and senses to travel with Hawaiian Healing on this journey to the magical place that is truly Hawaiian.
To me the bottle of perfume captures exactly what I think Hawaii would smell like. I imagine flowers of all kinds, especially Jasmine, Hibiscus, Lily and Plumeria. Jasmine and Lily happen to be my favorite flower scents, so I can definitely know why I like this fragrance so much. It is light and airy, not heavy at all and when it first sprays on you get the full effect of the floral top notes. Then immediately the middle or heart notes take over and you can smell the the fruity notes of pineapple and banana, at the end with the dry down the Tahitian Vanilla takes over and you smell the most beautiful of vanilla scents ever to be scented by humans. But the dry down still includes the top notes easily, they don't disappear. I love how they stay in the scent indefinitely so that the florals mix with the vanilla, causing an uproar in the scent that makes it smell divine. I would definitely see myself getting this fragrance, I think it was a good choice of florals and non-floral scents together that made this perfume come alive so well. I love this scent and I would definitely wear this often. It is not a seasonal scent in my mind, even though it is a heavy floral perfume. I don't define my scents by season, changing them up with the weather. If I find one that I like, I wear it all year long. I think you will be very happy with the fragrance. If not there is a money-back guarantee.
