It's holiday time! Which means it's time for philosophy's holiday sets. I love philosophy and their skincare, which happens to be one of my favorite skincare lines. This year they sent me a couple of nice sets to be included in my Holiday Gift Guide and I am bringing them to you ASAP so you can shop for them ASAP and get them before they are gone.
The philosophy renewed and grateful skincare set includes a purity made simple cleanser (full size), renewed hope in a jar peeling mousse (full size), renewed hope in a jar day moisturizer (deluxe size) and a renewed hope in a jar night moisturizer (deluxe size). philosophy believes that great skincare doesn't have to be complicates and this regimen in a box of must haves will transform your skin and streamline your skincare regimen to just what is really needed. America's #1 cleanser gently dissolves makeup, lifts away impurities, makeup, dirt and grime and hydrates for comfortably clean skin. Follow that up morning and evening with the renewed hope in a jar moisturizers for 24 hours of non-stop hydration, refined texture and healthy-looking skin. These moisturizers have been recommended for all skin types but I wouldn't use them on acneic skin, they are too rich. For an extra 1 minute boost in hydration and glow, use their breakthrough peeling mousse instant glow facial to roll away dead skin and impurities, instantly reveal skin with less visible lines and a more even tone.
How To Use:
- purity made simple cleanser: gently massage a quarter sized amount onto a lightly damp face and massage for 30-60 seconds. Rinse and pat skin dry.
- renewed hope peeling mousse: apply a generous amount onto clean dry skin. Gently massage in circular motions for up to one minute to visibly roll and sweep away impurities. Rinse thoroughly. For best results, use every other day. Three times a week at least. If irritation occurs, limit usage to once a week.
- renewed hope in a jar day & night moisturizers: apply morning and night to clean dry skin. When applying the day moisturizer, make sure to apply a SPF30 to skin on top or at least a foundation with SPF30 on top to prevent re-damaging your skin from free radicals.
I've been a user of these products for years and love them all. The renewed hope peeling mousse is new and I just gave it a test drive. I found that it, like other peeling products, works very well at removing the top layer of skin without irritation, redness and damage. It uses enzymes to eat away at the top layer of skin and with friction, removes it and rolls it away. It really is an efficient way to exfoliate dead skin without much irritation or problems that peels or scrubs provide. Sensitive skins can use this type of product much easier than they can other peeling products.
This would make a great gift for anyone who is into skincare, such as a mother, daughter, friend or sister. Or purchase it for yourself since it contains a basic regimen in a box. If you have wanted to try philosophy products but have never had the chance, now is the time. purity made simple cleanser happens to be one of the best cleansers I have ever used and I love it more than any other cleanser I have ever used. It is very good at getting rid of makeup, grime, pollution, dirt and impurities. Hope In A Day moisturizers are some of the best anti-aging moisturizers around, they have peptides and antioxidants to protect skin from free radicals and they actually do help make the skin look and feel younger.
