In the past couple of years Maybelline has come out with some wonderful eyeshadow palettes that have been smartly thought out. I have purchased and reviewed these palettes and love them a lot, especially for mass market eyeshadow palettes. Below is my review for their latest entry, the Nudes of New York Eyeshadow Palette.

Notice how the colors look great on each skin tone? That is because they were designed to be worn by any skin tone shade. These nudes have different varying shades of intensity. They go from light to dark, thus making them easier to wear depending on the skin tone.

I am also wearing wearing Cheek Heat in Berry Flame and Color Sensational Lipstick in Beige Babe. The colors of eyeshadow I am wearing are Globe Trotter, Self Starter, Fighter and Dreamer.
This eyeshadow palette is absolutely wonderful. I love how pigmented it is. I also love how well the shadows blend, without being chalky, which is a common complaint among mass market eyeshadows. These are top notch. They don't do anything like inexpensive eyeshadows normally do. That is because these are not inexpensive eyeshadows. These shadows do not come out looking chalky, dull, flat or for lack of pigment. They are well pigmented and all look beautiful together.

After watching a Jaclyn Hill Youtube beauty tutorial, I went to the store to find this inexpensive eye palette. Sadly, the store was sold out but I ended up finding it here on
ReplyDeletesephora, at a great price too! The palette is easy to use and I appreciate that on each eye shadow, there are instructions on where each color should be applied on the eye lid. It does come with applicator brushes, but I prefer to use my own eye shadow brushes for a softer effect. This eye shadow palette is great for any eye color and at an amazing price too!
