Bloomeffects is a new range of clean skincare that is made with primarily made with recycled packaging is 100% recyclable. As are the containers. The line contains no sulfates, parabens, phthalates or fragrance.  Their philosophy is to be as sustainable as possible. The co-founders of the brand, Kim Van Haaster and Monica Aurigemma, have a long history in the beauty business. Ms. Van Haaster knew she wanted to start Bloomeffects after falling in love with the love of her life and moving to the Netherlands. She asked Ms. Aurigemma to help her. Ms. Van Haaster's husband introduced her to the tulip that would soon be the inspiration for Bloomeffects. Eventually they would have one of their very own hybrid named after their brand. It was chosen to be the Bloomeffects tulip because of its unique dark purple color and beautiful shape. It is a huge honor for Bloomeffects to the join the likes of Dutch King Willam-Alexander and Sir Paul McCartney to have a tulip christened after them.

Bloomeffects Tulip Tint, an Allure 2020 Best of Beauty Winner, is a wonderful hydrating tint that illuminates lips and cheeks in a gorgeous petal-pink shade. Perfect for any and all skin tones, it goes from sheer to bold depending on your desired intensity. Use it anytime, anywhere for a quick pop of petal-pink color. To use, lightly dab on lips and cheeks to add a natural flush. For a more pigmented look, layer until desired coverage is achieved.

Normally I don't use tinted balms. But this one isn't bad at all. I was certainly tempted with the Allure 2020 Best of Beauty Award Winner for best clean beauty. Because that is the gold standard in this industry. It comes out a really pretty petal-pink color. And makes a beautiful blush shade that goes on sheer and has buildable coverage. The cheek/lip balm wears nicely and can be used anywhere for a quick pop of color. Even better, it is hydrating and lasts a long time. To use, lightly dab on lips and cheeks to add a natural flush. For a more pigmented look, layer until desired coverage is achieved. You only need a tiny bit, as the color is buildable. The tubes are made from recycled PICEA wood and will look different for everyone. This product contains the proprietary Bloomeffects Proprietary Dutch Tulip Complex, rich in antioxidants, natural moisturizing factors, and amino acids for softer, smoother, and glowingly hydrated skin.
